Over the past few months, singer Gary Valenciano has been diagnosed from a series of health complications. According to him, aside from his diabetes, he also suffered from a heart problem, which caused him to undergo an open-heart surgery. Right after his operation, he found out that he has an uncontrolled malformed growth in the kidney. Nevertheless, despite all those challenges and trials that he faced, Mr. Pure Energy remains positive and steadfast in life.
On his full exclusive interview with Korina Sanchez in “Rated K” last week, the 53-year-old performer opened up about how he managed to win all those battles in life.
As for him, he strongly believes that everything that happened to him were just part and parcel of the wonderful plan of God for his life.
“Gusto ko talagang i-share sa lahat ito, kasi iba talaga ang plano ni Lord sa akin. At eto kasama na rin sa mga plano niya, na dumaan ako sa ganitong klaseng pagsubok.”
Instead of asking God, Gary V thanked the Almighty Father for being there for him in midst of his trials.
“Actually nagpapasalamat ako kasi talagang minsan, kailangan talagang dumaan sa ganyang klaseng mga pagsubok ang tao. Para malaman talaga ng mga tao mismo na buhay ang Lord.”
After his consecutive successful operations, the 53-year-old Kapamilya performer said that he is now in the recovering stage. As a matter of fact, he is now very excited and looking forward to the day that he will finally be able to go back to work.
“Kada araw …nagkakaron ako ng excitement na makabalik sa Tawag Ng Tanghalan, makabalik sa Your Face Sounds Familiar, makabalik sa ASAP.”
