Consequently, the 24-year-old beauty queen took time to respond to the netizen’s query who seems to be disappointed over her body measurement.

She replied: “What number would be good for you? What number constitutes my worth, or a “perfect” figure? I hope you would see women as individuals whose worth are defined by what they do and who they are, not by numbers on a tape.”

But it was really her answer during the Q&A portion that made her stand out among the other beauties. When US ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim asked her, “After the devastating war, Marawi is now on its way to recovery. What is your message to the young women of Marawi?”

Catriona confidently answered:
“My answer and message to the women [of Marawi] is to be strong. As women, we are the head of the household. And, we have amazing influence not only [on] our own families – as mothers, sisters, and friends – but also [on] our community. If we could get the women to stay strong and be that image of strength for the children and the people around them, once the rebuilding is complete, the morale of the community will stay strong and high,” she said.
