After years of being out of the limelight, Judy Ann Santos just confirmed that she is set to return to Philippine television.
During a Facebook livestream for her Facebook page “Judy Ann’s Kitchen,” the veteran actress happily announced her much-awaited return to TV. This was after a netizen asked if Judy Ann will star in a film or teleserye this year. She responded with, “no there are no movies coming soon but we are working on a new teleserye this coming… this coming week! Hahaha!”
“Coming na po yan, hindi ko lang alam kung kailan, but it’s coming!”
The actress-mom also announced her upcoming teleserye with ABS-CBN on Instagram in February of this year. In the post, she was pictured with Dreamscape business unit head Deo Endrinal and other executives. Dreamscape Entertainment Television handles some of ABS-CBN’s teleseryes such as, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “Dolce Amore,” and “Since I Found You.”
On an Instagram post, Juday wrote:
“Teleserye soon… thank you to my abs cbn and dreamscape family for trusting me with another show.”
Judy Ann’s last teleserye gig was “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” in 2013 wherein she teamed with Sam Milby and KC Concepcion.
Three years ago, Judy Ann Santos was set to lead the Kapamilya teleserye “Someone To Watch Over Me” with Richard Yap and Diether Ocampo. However, due to her pregnancy, the network decided to cancel the show.
