First, dissolve the sugar into your boiling water. Make sure to use ceramic mugs that can withstand the heat of your concoction. Now that you have sweet sauce (that ants can’t resist, surely), it’s time to mix in the deadly ingredient: Borax. This is an affordable disinfectant that makes your sweet sauce deadly for ants. Six to eight teaspoons of Borax ought to do it.

Now, it’s important to evenly blend the water, sugar, and Borax. Any huge clumps could cause trouble by clogging up your spray bottle!

To seal the deal on your ant problem, mix in a bit of honey, just to make your trap more irresistible for creepy crawlies.

Now that you have the sweet, deadly trap, all you have to do is to spray this along the critical areas of your house. No exterminator, no problem!
