Breastfeeding is surprisingly is still an issue for some people today. Here in the Philippines, although very common, breastfeeding is still being frowned upon. But more mothers are standing up and showing that only prudes and low-key pervs make a big fuss with breastfeeding in public.
Here are the proud celebrity moms who continue to enjoy motherhood despite the negativity:
Marian Rivera gave birth to Maria Letizia Gracia- Dantes or famously known as baby Zia on November 23, 2015. In the picture, Marian can be seen breastfeeding in public during Hayden Kho and Vicky Belo’s party. Being a breastfeeding advocate, Marian was invited to be a resource speaker at the University of The Philippines College of Medicine.
Isabelle Daza has recently given birth to a healthy baby boy last April 2 despite having to undergo an emergency C- section. She hasn’t announced the name of the baby yet but refers to him in her Instagram posts as “Nugget”. Belle posted a photo of her breastfeeding her baby.
Saab Magalona gave birth to twins but lost her baby girl Luna, leaving her with one healthy boy named Pancho. When he was still in the hospital, he was tube-fed every three hours because he had difficulty swallowing. Eventually, he got off the tubes and started feeding normally. Saab is an advocate of breastfeeding.
Kylie Padilla has had troubles with breastfeeding baby Alas. She wrote on her IG: “It’s hard to watch him get frustrated when he cannot latch during our AM feeds but we are slowly learning and working through it since I really want us to reap all the benefits of breastfeeding. Not to mention the high that it gives both of us.”

Neri Naig can be seen breastfeeding her baby with Chito Miranda named Miguel Alfonso. She’s been getting negative comments from netizens regarding breastfeeding but instantly fights back, defending her right to feed her baby.

Jennica Garcia- Uytingco is also a breastfeeding advocate. She also founded a support group for mothers like her. Her baby’s name is Athena Mori.
Bianca Gonzalez recently quoted on her Instagram, “I think breastfeeding is the TOUGHEST part of being a new mom.. tougher than pregnancy and giving birth combined.”
Mariel Rodriguez is also having troubles with latching. She also says that her milk supply is really low, making it hard for her to feed her baby Isabella properly. But despite all that, she still enjoys breastfeeding her baby.
