A little recap of what happened: Bea Alonzo got people talking after allegedly unfollowing Gerald Anderson and Pia Wurtzbach on Instagram. The social media incident happened around the time when Gerald and Pia’s new movie “My Perfect You” came out. She also deleted one of her posts that was supposed to be a promotion for the movie. An avid fan of the couple posted screenshots to confirm the rumors.

Gerald and Bea are an on again off again couple and no one really knows if they’re together or not. They got back together after shooting their movie “How To Be Yours.” But after the unfollowing incident, fans came to a conclusion that maybe the couple are indeed split again.

Gerald then countered the assumptions in an interview with PEP, saying that he and Bea’s breakup was just a publicity gimmick for “My Perfect You.”

Bashers have been spewing negative comments against Bea Alonzo ever since she unfollowed Gerald and Pia on Instagram. Bea has not released a statement regarding the issue and she seems to be very calm about it. But her longtime partner Gerald got fed up with the bashers and recently spoke up, coming to Bea’s defense.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin sa mga bashers, sa nagdya-judge kay Bea, wow, talaga?! Siguraduhin n’yo munang perfect kayo bago kayo magsabi ng masama tungkol sa isang tao. Celebrity man o normal na tao, parang wala kayong karapatan at wala kayo sa sitwasyon.” Gerald said.

He is obviously not a big fan of the negativity that has been circulating around his and Bea’s life.

“Let’s just share positivity. Huwag na puro nega na tao.” He added.
