Garie Concepcion reveals the reason why her half-sister, KC Concepcion, has been missing from showbiz

If you are a loyal Kapamilya viewer, you have probably noticed that KC Concepcion hasn’t made any appearances on TV lately. Her conspicuous absence from the screen has many of her fans wondering how she’s been doing.

In an interview with PEP, KC’s half-sister, Garie Concepcion, explained why the former has been inactive in showbiz recently.

Garie clarified that KC does not feel any resentment towards her acting career or her past relationship with Piolo Pascual.

“Hindi po, iba lang po talaga yung focus ni Ate ngayon. Iba yung gusto niya ngayon. She will always be there naman. Kung merong magandang solid project, alam kong babalik at babalik si Ate.”

She revealed that her half-sister, who is a UN World Food Programme Ambassador, is presently focused on her UN obligations and her business endeavors.

“Si Ate, it’s her choice to focus on UN first and her businesses. Siyempre nandun na siya sa age niya where she wants to take it slow. But I know she will be back also.”

Garie also assured the public that her ate will soon be back to basking in the limelight.

“Iba lang po talaga yung priorities ni Ate. Parang nag-shift siya ng… nag-iba po talaga. Pero babalik at babalik po siya. Para sa mga fans niya na naghihintay sa kanya, she will be back.”

Aside from speaking about KC’s showbiz issues, she likewise spoke about the wedding rumors surrounding KC and her beau, Aly Borromeo, the former team captain of the Philippine Azkals.

“Hindi ko po alam, siya ang nakakaalam po nun. Mabait po si Aly. Si Aly, parang he’ll always be there for you. Very supportive sila sa isa’t isa. Very genuine yung love nila sa isa’t isa. Nasa kanila na po yun [kasal]. Ang napag-uusapan lang po namin ay yung plano niya sa sarili niya.”
