For many generations, the world has been fascinated by the supposed existence of something called Nessie, a cryptid believed to live in Loch Ness.
It is one of the most popular mythical creatures that some people actually believe in, along with Bigfoot, or the Abominable Snowman. Scottish folklore says Nessie, also known as the Loch Ness Monster, lurks deep in the depths of Loch Ness, Scotland.
There have been many claimed sightings of Nessie across the years, but not a single shred of evidence has ever revealed Nessie to be real.
A group of fishermen traversing Lough Foyle, which borders the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, however, might have caught something on video that would make Nessie’s believers get on their boats to fervently look for another lake bone cryptid with enthusiasm once more.
What they found might be proof that we might be seeing very little of Nessie, because we’re looking in the wrong place.
See, the fishermen were 400 miles away in Ireland, when they came across something so incredible and terrifying.
The group of friends was having a hard time with their catch, probably because of the impending rain. It was a pretty uneventful fishing trip until one of the fishermen started pointing a hundred yards away from the boat.
His companions couldn’t easily make out what he was so excited about, until it passed right in front of their boat.
Nobody could tell what it was, but the way it moves the water around it tells us of its size, at least, and it is humongous.
“Do you see the size of that?” one of the friends could be heard asking his friends in the video clip. They were right to fear about their safety for a moment, but fortunately, they were able to continue filming the thing as it passed by quickly!
